karaoke anyone?

met jen and sal after gym for dinner, the fun of having friends that work around your office area. we planned on going home straight afterwards though i was keen on doing the friday night thingy. dinner became longer with the chit chat that we decided to stop by the friday thingy to say hi and get home by 10 PM.
so we went to this place where truth is there's only 2 or 3 ppl that i knew. kinda awkward at first as the crowd was different but then i started talking to j, an oz bloke who is quite fun actually. then al, who knew jen and sal, came and we started to talk about all sort of things, from those annoying ppl, asian food, bowling to the ultimate one - karaoke. it was a great conversation with lots of laughter. we have decided to support j in his next 'action' by being an impersonator. can't wait for that!!.
from asking sal to finish her drink 'cos it's almost 10, we then decided to stay back as the conversation get more interesting. almost ended the night doing karaoke but we firmly said no. learned something new as well - never EVER made a short form of that name - noted!
it was surprise to see ally and his colleagues there when we're almost leaving that we decided to stay back and hung out a little bit more. left around 11.30ish but it's definitely a great night with a great bunch of crowd. j is definitely a fun person to talk to - very witty indeed.
