Books books books...

I finally bought it!! After months of contemplating whether to wait 'til its available in the library/rent store I finally had my hands on the book - French Women Don't Get Fat.
Wuhuuu.. can't wait to read it tonite...

Thats the problem w books - when u're done w/ one u definitely have to get a new one asap :).
I spent last weekend finishing the novel - a loving scoundrel but the one and only Ms. Johanna Lindsey.
Hands down ppl - she's definitely my favourite when it comes to historical romance.
I should credit my elder sis for introducing me to her.

One thing good abt her book is that you definitely know what's going on next, so the thrill is in anticipating it; not in guessing what's gonna be next.

Ms. Lindsey - if only u read this, I really wanna say a huge thank you for having a brilliant idea on having this Malorys.
For those who doesnt know - this author writes lotsa novels with some of them is link to each other, and my favourite - and my sisters fave as well - is abt the Malory family. How this notorious family w/ handsome and beautiful family members captures our heart, u guys have to read it yourself.

Some clue though - its better if u read it in the order so u know what they're talking abt - something this malorys can just talk abt some small things that happen in the other book, though it won't really make much different if u don't follow the order - I know I don't but if based on experience, its better to get it in order.

Some of them in orders are (though I forget some of the title):
  • Regina Malory - Nicholas Eden (Love Only Once)
  • James Malory - Georgina Anderson (A Gentle Feuding(?))
  • Anthony Malory - I forget the lady's name (Tender Rebel)
  • Derek Malory - Kelsey Langton (??)
  • Amy Malory - Warren Anderson (??)
  • The Malory's ancestor; including abt Jason Malory - Molly (The Holiday Present)
  • Jeremy Malory - Danette (Loving Scoundrel)
I guess the next one will be abt Drew Malory - who know's who..

so ppl - get ur hands on the book.
My favourite is James Malory - but after finish reading abt Jeremy, his son - I kinda like him now.
But no.. James' the best :)

Counting The Days...

yupe yupe yupe...
counting the days to going back to my hometown .. can't wait - the picture of me at home playing w my nephew, c-ing my cats, meeting my family totally excites me now.
Furthermore, this time ard me n my school pals plan on going to another city, Bandung. Our plan is no shopping (well, at least for me) n concentrate on the local food!! I hope I wont gain a lot though :D

As per normal, everytime Im going home, I spent the w/end prior to that just staying at home. And this time ard it got worst! I didnt even went to the gym on sat - just slacking at home. Well not really, I completed all the domestic work n watch the combat video - oh wow, the lady was so cool in executing the movements. Will try to imitate some of her style in the next class.

for now, I'll just continue counting the hours til it finally comes!

Fencing n Capoeira

Last weekend me n my colleague went to a 2 hrs fencing workshop - fun .. at least we knew more abt the background and of course we had a hand w/ the sword.
enGuard, Parry, Attack, Lunge ... waahh.. no sweat bu definitely feel some soreness on ur hand

Feel like taking the course but hmm, I need to save up for my wakeboarding course.
Speaking of wakeboarding - decided to postpone the class 'til next month as the weather is not good this days n my friend said its better to find a twice a week course than once a week - so we can learn faster.
homework for me - find more info abt this.

Just came back from power lunch - went to the Capoeira Fitness Preview class.
soooooo much fun!!!
its a brazilian martial arts where some of the movements incorporated bits of dance in it ..
but the kicking is quite tough especially after front leg kick turn back leg kick turn .. phew ... tough but fun
Im just hoping that cali will have this class permanently - just get some foreign instructors to held the class.
good for the company image n good for the eyes :D

c'mon cali - after losing 20 pt in a go u should do something to boost ur image especially w more rival opening new branches ard u!

now back to work...

Fun fun fun

Its May .. so much for my daily update huh?
Hmm, nothing much happened actually, but I did something fun during the weekend.

With my colleague we went for kayaking - apparently its a singles event!! I was quite apprehensive at the beginning 'cos Im not used to this kind of things n always have a negative thought of it.
But lucky me everyone's there with one thing on their mind - FUN!
2 hrs of kayaking under the blazing sun was surely a great way to spend the saturday especially followed by a lunch. Prior to that we we stranded outside w/ no money to buy water ...
but all in all it was a GREAT day to spend the weekend
we're planning for another outing - seems like the tree top walk will be the next event.
can't wait!

oh ya, went to watch the Interpreter n it kinda reminded me of my earlier trip to the UN building in states.
hmmm, wonder when n where my next trip will be.

meanwhile - back to my diet :)
hiiiii - guess I'll be taking another measuring this week, hopefully my fat %tage goes down.

in the meantime, just gonna stay on track as per normal n waiting anxiously for this coming weekend where Im gonna try something new.. FENCING!
