its after lunch - just came back from the new National Library. It is so huge but the lending area only occupies the basement - so I guess the books collection for us to borrow is not as huge as the place huh.

Found one book by Marcel Proust - Sodom and Gomorrah - I hope its a good book.
Trying to move myself from the general fiction, historical romance novels I've been reading to something more "intellectual".
Truth is I was quite at lost after reading the first few pages - I guess you have to concentrate when reading this kind of book. Well, I'll try and lets see how it goes.

So you guys pls let me know if you have any book(s) to recommend.

its MONDAY again ...

Its monday and as usual Im hardly working - probably after writing this I'll work hard :)

Spent the weekend as planned - at home most of the time.

Started the weekend with meeting friends at thumper for a drink. Had fun there and we played games which was quite fun where the loser must drink all the way - this is fine by me as Im only drinking orange juice hehe..
Since Im planning for a quiet weekend, I left early exactly few minutes b4 12 - just like cinderella ;)

Started my saturday with meeting my aunt n together we went visiting one of our family who's son just passed away. From there I headed to the gym but I was late for the step class :( so I just did my own cardio before hitting the abs machine. Thinking of skipping combat for today as Im still feeling sleepy, I then spent most of the time in the sauna room - thinking of the fried chicken from es teler 77 for lunch.
Too bad I later found out the branch in bugis has closed so that I have to think of something else for lunch ..

Went home and spent the rest of the evening curling up on the bed reading n watching tv. Did some domestic work at night so that I can spend sunday lazing off. I even cancelled going to 4 seasons for the tea reception on sunday 'cos I was really not in the mood to dress up.
Oh, and Thanks to StarWorld for repeating the oprah interview with Bill Clinton!!

Overall, a very quiet weekend. So happy my body was with the rest it got that I managed to wake up early this morning for the pump class.

2 more hourse before the weekend but Im already not in the mood of working.

went to the gym during lunch time - supposed to go this morning but I've been sleeping late lately, most of the time 'cos talking to my sis abt whats happenning back home. Gosh, everything that happened lately made me respect and love my parents more!

Going to bugis branch later for the 6.30 class before heading to town n meet my friends - looks like Im gonna make some new friends as well later.
Though I know its gonna be fun Im not planning to stay long - there's no better place than home

I hope I don't have to wake up early tomorrow but I guess this is just not going to happen. My aunt called saying that someone's son passed away and I guess I have to represent my family to pay them a condolescence visit before hitting the gym tomorrow.

Planning to have a good rest tomorrow night.
I just wanna curl on my bed, reading the books that is due to be returned next week.

ps. as for my being more budget conscious - so far so good! yippeee

It's monday and I'm still feeling tired from the weekend.

It all started on friday nite where I met a bunch of new friends in CnC. Almost chickened out as I went there alone without knowing anybody there. But the tempting mexican food won over that I decided to go for the sake of the food - if the company is bad I'd just enjoy the food and find excuse to leave early.
Boy I was totally wrong - the ppl were fun n you have to be thick skin approaching those ppl introducing urself which I didn't really do well :).

Met few ppl from my country which made it more comfortable for me. Too bad the food was not up to our expectations - I guess they're kinda flabbergasted with the idea of having to deal with us individually when it comes to payment.

From there a few of us headed to east coast as the club there was playing the 80s songs - retro nite actually. I didn't know if I wanna go or not but I ended up going and stayed there for awhile before heading home.
It was such a blast that I made lotsa new friends especially that I found a girl who enjoys outdoor sports as much as I do. Planning on joining them rollerblading one of these days.

Saturday morning, I woke up early though I still felt tired from the nite before. I slept at 3 AM yet I had to wake up early as me and 2 of my colleagues are planning on another outing - Johor Baru.

Reached JB for lunch before we started our shopping activities. Quite a damage for my pocket but it got me 3 pair of shoes, 2 t-shirts, a toe ring n an earring. Yaaay... it's always fun when you went shopping and got what you never thing you would ended up buying.

Ended the day with a sumptous Brownies w/ Ice Cream and Fish Head Curry. mmmmm

Back at home and did my laundry before I collapsed in bed. My legs were so aching from all the walking we did. Cancelled meeting my friends to go to the bazaar at the embassy and cancelled going to the gym so that I could stay at home. But then my auntie was discharged from the hospital - which was a very good news - that I ended up going to her place and spent the evening there where I met my other aunties n kuzzins.

Now, back at work wishing it's still weekend - but life goes on and today is also the beginning of my plan to be more budget concious.
I know it's time for me to spend less especially w/ the stupid HR fault that caused me quite a paycut for the next few months :(

Finally, the functional training is over ... now what's left is the weight gained from all the food n sweets taken during the training ;)

It's gonna be a tough project now that we've attended the functional workshop. When I attended the technical workshop back in march we're totally not prepared as we're informed 1 week prior to the training itself. I guess now the 2nd batch attending the technical are very much lucky compared to me n my boss as they have some functional knowledge before heading to the states.

Now, back to my own desk clearing emails, unsettled jobs, and of course blogging before getting back seriously at work next week.

hope I have a great weekend this time around considering what's already planned.
for you guys who might be here accidentally (or maybe not) - have a great weekend too!

I've been waiting for the table to be imported forever so I guess I'd better do something else while waiting for it.

A friend reminded me abt my recent trip back home. Haven't write abt it as I'm still trying to work with the pictures but that's gonna be quite some time so I'll leave that for later.

Went home especially for my nephew's 4th birtday - Happy Birthday you little rascal. It's quite a fun day for the kids and the adults as well. The kids enjoyed the fun with spongebob square pants and I guess the adults enjoyed the foods served. I for one enjoyed myself - from siomay to bakwan malang to es puter and ended it with some chapatis and cakes. Basically I've been surrendering myself to the joyous food from my hometown from the day I reached there, there's no better food than my hometown's local delights!

Quite a tiring and fun day, I have to say - with lots of balloons and this little boy enjoying himself being pampered extra for a day. The day ended by him giving us performance of his version of BodyCombat ;p

Got a chance to meet my friends as well. I guess this was the 1st time we sat long enough and each of us kinda poured our heart out before we headed for some light dinner from some store along the road. After which we went to Monas *to see* the dancing fountain. Haha, we're too late.. we reached there just in time to see people went home. Well at least we did some walking before heading back home.
Guys, of all the meeting we had I think this is *as at date* the best one 'cos we had so much time to talk about whats going on with our personal life - don't you agree?
I guess the next time we can try the same thing - some cozy place to share stories at.

Spent the last few days sending my nephew to his school, lunch with mum n sis my sis' office and dinner with my other sis and my *poor mom who didn't eat a thing* at a mexican resto.
I loooove this kind of food - probably influenced by my sister - and I can't wait for this Friday where me n some newly acquianted friends will have dinner at a nice mexican resto here.

arrghs, the table is still not imported - I wonder what's wrong with the system.

ps. Happy Birthday to my beloved Country

Dear Cupid

I'm kinda sick n tired with all the questions that I sort of ask myself abt it more.
I don't wanna give up either but yet sometimes I feel that I just have to let it be.

so dear cupid, i think it's time for you to wake up and do your job better.

thank you...

today I am so exhausted - must be due to the overexercising

Went to the new cali branch at bugis, its a very nice place totally different from the raffles n orchard branch. I have to said this place is cozy, more exclusive, more classy than the other 2 branches and its not crowded at all. I hope it stays this way. The locker is also big, though the shower curtain is too narrow, probably good for those exhibitionist - which I am not!

Attended the intro step class for beginner - I really want to upgrade myself to intermediate soon, hence I need to attend this class more. Today class is taught by a cute guest instructor - a wade robson lookalike. He'll be moving to Singapore next week - FINALLY!!!! some eye candy at the gym :)

Note to myself: try the warm chocolate pudding(cake?) from 4 seasons - came highly recommended!

Took a break n headed down for lunch before meeting my friends for a walk before going for Combat. Combat was such a fun, taught by the funny instructor - we laughed all the way through, definitely burned some extra calories there. Kinda felt tired but not when the MuayThai track was on - shouted all the way.

From Combat, we attended strength (spinning). This is definitely a fat burner, phew the sweat kept on dripping and dripping. After the class we approach the instructor, my favourite instructor, and I asked him if his tuesday class will forever be taken over by another instructor. His answer was yes 'cos it's kinda tough form him to make to the 6.30 class nowadays without having his face turned green :).
This is such a sad news for me, and I think for my friend as well. I kinda enjoy all his classes n my friend agreed that tuesday's combat is so much fun if he's teaching.
Well, now we planned to move our saturday combat to orchard for the sake of attending his class .. late evening but I guess that's fine.

Gym's over and headed to the hospital to meet my aunt who just had a reconstructive surgery. Thank God, she's doing well and I pray she goes home early. The family had gone through a lot since her vein bursted last year.

Now back at home, having my yoghurt planning what to do next. Guess I'll browse the net while doing my laundry 'til Im sick of it.
I know I have to prepare for this monday's functional training - lots of reading, but it's saturday nite!

Human Resource dept. called saying that since 2003 they wrongly calculate the CPF contribution. Guess they forgotten that for PR the percentage changes every few years.

At the end both of us have to pay quite a huge amount *sigh* - though they will deduct from the salary for few months it's still a huge lost on my monthly income.

There goes the semi precious gemstone ring I was eyeing for ...

I wonder, since HR who is at fault, shouldn't they be the one paying for my share as well?

Well, more savings for the future , guess it's a blessing in disguise - helps chaining the crazy shopaholic in me.

Had quite a weekend.

Spent saturday at home watching 5 hrs of Lost on AXN.. yippeee next week will be the final 5 episodes - hopefully I can catch it back home and that I don't have to give up to my nephew's craziness of nickelodeon channel.

Went out at night to pick up my friend who's in town for business. From her hotel we went to have some satay and walked around clarke quay. It's been quite a while since I met her, so there's a lot of stuff we talked abt. From there we went to orchard, meeting another group of friends who's actually gathering as one of my senior was also in town.
Spent time at the karaoke place - well, they sang n I only sat watching and singing to myself :).
I always find it weird to sing out of tune with ppl you're not that close with - though they're my friend Im not that close to them.
Guess it true what ppl said abt me, kinda have different personality w/ different type of ppl. If they were my school friends like biki n juwi, I'd definitely sing like Im the best singer in town haha!

From there we headed down to swensen for ice creams n some finger foods - adios healthy diet ;p.
We spent time talking 'til we're kinda tired before heading back home ard 2 am n went to sleep ard 3, my friend stayed at my place so we chit chat b4 going to bed.
geez, so many things to share in such a little time.

Still feeling tired, we went to little india early in the morning as my friend's flying home in the evening. Had a great breakfast - masala thosai, samosa and a mango lassi - its great to see my friend who's not used to this kinda food enjoying every bit of it.
Spent time shopping afterwards, went to geylang where I met my aunt who so called be our 'guide' in the market as Im not familiar w/ the place n my friend needed to get some things that her in-laws asked her to.

Back to her hotel then we headed to orchard for some last minute shopping. I parted with her after she met her colleagues n then its my turn to do my own shopping.
Got my creme de la mer - always felt heartache everytime I buy this - and my powder.
Headed down to FarEast buying stuffs my sis ordered - geez, time flies by so fast that I'll be heading home this weekend yay!!

Its very tiring especially with the blazing sun, but its fun as well.

Went home feeling very tired. but then my aunt called saying that my grand aunt is hospitalized.
So there goes my rest, went out to fetch her then both of us went to hospital.

Seeing my aunt there made me think abt my life.
She's alone n had a problem 'cos there's no one to take care of her 24/7.
Yes you can hire a maid, but since she's living alone in a 2 room flat, there's some government rule that made it difficult for her to hire one.
Of course my aunts n uncles take care of her as well, but if u think abt it it's not the same with ur parents or kids taking care of u and they also have their own family to take care of.

I started thinking what if it were me, then my mind wandered around - as usual.
Hmm, I hope this won't happen to me, I don't want to stay single for the rest of my life...
Guess I'll just have to wait for cupid to play its role huh

Ended my weekend with loads of ironing while watching Oprah!
Thank god I woke up early the next morning and headed down to the gym for my 1st class of the week - bodypump.

u know when families and friends trying to fix u up with someone because they thought you never think of your future or because that you're not actively seeking for one?
well, it happens to me all the time..

once, i gave in but i guess you really have to follow your first instinct - don't feel that you have to make others happy if it certainly not what you want.

so everyone, if you were to introduce me to guys like the one in the pic below, trust me - from the bottom of my heart - I definitely will not object at all!!

who is this guy, btw?

yesterday, my worst nightmare came true

I was on my way back from the gym to the office, attending a conference call at 7 PM.
After my training, I filled my shaker with water n head back to office as the call would start in 15 mins time.
Planning on getting back to my desk to take the files n have some breads w/ my shake b4 heading up to the conference room.

Inside the lift, 17th floor and dukkk, n thats it!
My body shivered all over and i could feel tears in the corner of my eyes - apart from dentist, this is what i fear most.

Trying to be as calm as possible, i pressed the emergency button n the security guard told me to wait for 15 to 30 mins!! and the call is in 10 mins time - Im screwed!!
Lucky enough I could call my boss from inside n let her know that I was stuck so I might be late for I have no idea how long.

So there i was sitting in the corner, taking out my shaker n protein shake powder. Made myself the shake n enjoy it in the tranquility of the lift.
10 mins passed by when there's a sound from the speaker

speaker: ma'am, u still there?
me: of course I am, where do u think I can go
speaker: hold on ya, maintenance will be there in 10 mins time.

Few minutes after that, i heard some bangs - looks like they're trying to force open the door to no avail.
The lift kept on shaking that my mind wandered to movies where the cable was cutt off n the lift drop down.
Hmmm, 17th floor - will i survive it? what must i hold on to if that happen?
silent ... looks like they gave up to force open the door

Few minutes went by and suddenly there's voice from above of me asking if Im still there *stupid question* and asked me to hold on.
Suddenly the lift door opened and I jumped down of the lift n shouted that Im out. Finally!!

back to my desk, grabbed the files n bread, took a lift *again* up to the conference room.
knocked the door, smiled w/ the word sorry and sat down trying to listen to whats been discussed.
made a note here n there and 10 mins went by before the US counterpart said
"well, I guess that's it. You guys did a great job so far. Lets have another call in 2 weeks time, shall we say 10 of August? okay? good - see you then.. bye"

hah!

The question suddenly occurs in my mind...

Am I happy with the way I'm leading my life? Am I contented with what I'm doing now?
And I guess deep down inside I know what the answer is ... NO

I've been working in the same line for the past 7 years, yet deep inside me I always wonder if I could be doing something else better.
I know most people has a great career once they reached their 30s - me? I'll be stuck doing the same things if I don't move on.

Yes, there's a challenge in my current job, especially with the coming project.
But what will happen when its over next year?

I guess it's time for me to think of my future

A Big 'Thanks' To My Beloved Parents

I know that I should be grateful to have the parents I have but I've never been so very grateful of it until yesterday.

A story of my friend made me realise how lucky I am to be brought up this way.
Never in my life have I felt pressured by society though I know some might look at me n think I was old fashion, but I don't feel bad abt that at all.

What I know is that I stay true to myself and whatever I do is still within the bound of my religion and my parents' rules.

I have to admit though, there were times when I felt quite upset with how my parents rules n regulations made my space limited, especially during my teens.

I remember:

Back in secondary school, when my friends are heading to discotheque (Lipstick - I remember the name by heart) and me? straight home please...
I remember my friend asked me to pack my clothes n tell my mum that I'd be going out w/ friends to a mall when actually we planned to head down to Lipstick.
I was up for it - quite excited with the thrill of entering those kind of place - but when I was at home, the thrill is no longer there.

Im more worried abt the consequences of lying to my parents and I ended up calling my friend saying that Im not up for that as my respect for my parents is higher than my curiosity of going to that place.
Yes, she was upset but I felt happier afterwards.

Back in primary school, during our fasting months - some friends will just asked us to have a sip of water as our parents wouldn't be aware of that. Knowing how furious my parents would be when they found out, and especially, remembering their words that God is everywhere with you, I resisted the temptation.

Back in high school, I remember how I was quite annoyed having to call my mum to tell her I'll be home late 'cos my friend's gonna treat us and how my other friend said how lucky I was to have parents that cared for me, whereas her parents wouldn't even asked if she came home late at night.

Looking back to all these, I feel very bless for having a parents who raised me to be who I am today.
Though Im staying in a different country from them, they know all my movements n whereabouts.

Yes I do missed some 'cool' things during my teenage years, but I don't feel any regrets abt that.
I did experience clubbing, outing and stuff like that - but when I did it, I did with like-minded friends, so there's nothing to be worry abt;
furthermore my parents know about all these (yupe, they grumbled but hey, I'd rather they know the real me then finding out abt it from someone else).

Had my parents brought me up the other way, I might not be in front of this machine typing whatever Im typing now , I might not have the money to do the travelling I did, I might not have a chance to enjoy the luxury I can afford now.

So, mum n dad - thanks a lot!!
but trust me, I will still argue w/ you guys once in a while, way of spicing up your life there :)

last friday, I met soo many selfish people here - how I noticed? 'cos I'm d victim - sort of.

I was going for a detox program during the weekend, so I bought a lot of fruits on friday - afraid of starving I kinda bought more than I need. It was very heavy but since I'm planning to start saving more, I decided to take the train home instead of taxi.

Selfish act 1.
Left office 15 mins earlier to attend bodybalance. On my way to the lift I saw a lady going in so I was relieved 'cos she's gonna open the door and I can save some energy pushing the heavy door. I assume seeing how heavy the bag I was carrying, she would be kind and hold the door 'til Im out - like what I WOULD DO if I were in her place.
Surprisingly, oh sweet lazy skinny lady, she just stared at me with an ugly face. Apparently she's waiting for ME to open the door so that she can squeeze in. I looked her in the eyes, hell - I know this lady, and she just kept smiling at me and really squeeze in when I open the door. She had the decency of looking into my carrier.

Selfish act 2.
After my gym, I went home taking the train. It was my upper body training and my shoulders are killing me like hell, but still determined to be more cost-savvy I took the train home. Train was crowded as usual so I simply stand with the bags (gym bag and fruits bag) between my legs.
Once the train reached city hall (or is it bugis??), these 2 guys in front of me stood up. I was happy that I'd get a seat and before I even knew it, this couple from out of nowhere rushed to those seats. I was amazed and people ard me looked at me and we simply exchanged a knowing smile. The couple pretended nothing happen, though I noticed the guy looked at me and my carrier. I was soooo angry that I looked at him for the rest of the journey. Yes, Im not that tired that I need to sit desperately. But I was just so pissed of with how some people behave. I knew that he knew that I was looking straight at him that he barely looked anywhere else apart from his wife's mobile and the floor.

What is so difficult in giving up ur seat for those who needs it more than you do.
What if I fainted in the mrt - it happened before anyway - won't the guy feel guilty of stealing my seat?

I know I would...

It occurs to me that this couple may not be a local - hence, they have no idea what courtesy means.
It also shows that all the debates in the paper abt should people give up their seats for the elderly or pregnant lady in public transportation show how human can be so ignorant.

Can't they just imagine what if the person in need is their family members, their friends, or maybe themself in the future?
A friend of mine used to forbid her hubby from giving up seat for some pregnant lady by pretending to sleep.
When she's pregnant, she complained nobody wants to give up their seat for her - karma lady! thats what we told her...

I just simply can't understand these people.

Last saturday, on my way to city after the gym - I was so tired after attending bodycombat while on detox - that I saw an old lady entered the train from city hall. I ignored and get back to sleep, but I felt bad knowing that an old lady was standing while me, young (compared to her at least) and healthy, was sitting comfortably.
I gave up the seat for her and she smiled saying thank you to me.
I know its a small gestures but I believe she appreciated it a lot - I know I WANT people to do the same if that old lady happens to be my mom.

I simply simply can't understand how people can be so selfish.
I have to say though, back home - people in my country is not as selfish as people are here.
I guess cultures play a big role - I'd rather me unselfish than prosper but selfish.
come to think abt it - I'd rather be rich and unselfish :)

we belong together - Mariah Carey...

no particular reason for liking this song...
just that because my fave singer, Ricky Martin - has a new release 'I Don't Care' that I end up listening to US radio station, kiis fm that makes me sing this song more.
but US radio station is not that great, they kept on repeating the same song again n again.
well, at least I can hear ricky's song more often :D

===================================================================

I didn't mean it
When I said I didn't love you so
I should have held on tight
I never should've let you go
I didn't know nothing
I was stupid
I was foolish
I was lying to myself
I couldn't have fathomed that I would ever
Be without your love
Never imagined I'd be
Sitting here beside myself

Guess I didn't know you
Guess I didn't know me
But I thought I knew everything
I never felt
The feeling that I'm feeling
Now that I don't
Hear your voice
Or have your touch and kiss your lips
Cause I don't have a choice
Oh, what I wouldn't give
To have you lying by my side
Right here, 'cause baby

[Chorus:]
When you left
I lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby please
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me on the phone
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
We belong together

I can't sleep at night
When you are on my mind
Bobby Womack's on the radio
Singing to me
'If you think you're lonely now
'Wait a minute
This is too deep, too deep
I gotta change the station
So I turn the dial
Trying to catch a break
And then I hear Babyface
I only think of you
And it's breaking my heart
I'm trying to keep it together
But I'm falling apart
I'm feeling all out of my element
I'm throwing things
Crying
Trying to figure out
Where the hell I went wrong
The pain reflected in this song
Ain't even half of what
I'm feeling inside
I need you
Need you back in my life baby

[Chorus]
[Repeat chorus]

When you leftI lost a part of me
It's still so hard to believe
Come back baby please
We belong together
Who else am I gonna lean on
When times get rough
Who's gonna talk to me
Till the sun comes up
Who's gonna take your place
There ain't nobody better
We belong together

CaN't MaDe Up My MiNd

Trying to make a decision here, present or future...
quite tough n i really can't decide when actually tomorrow is the deadline.

my training session is gonna be over soon, no significant result after all the money i spent.
actually the trainer was quite upset when she took my measurement yesterday.
lost .5 cm ard the left arm - hey it could be fat rite *grin*

truth be told, Im not happy with the result as well - partly due to my own mistake of not eating enuff.
really need to change my mind set abt eating carbs.

actually i have to start changing my diet *again* starting today - hmm, to think of having the protein shake right after ur workout means that u have to bring the shaker everyday - kinda bulky.
but then if i were to take the shake after workout, when must i take my dinner esp that my workout ends ard 7.30 pm everyday.
late dinner means light dinner - does that mean I have to have a heavy meal before workout - say change my 4.30 snack time as dinner?
then again, what am I suppose to eat for dinner 'cos my snack is mainly fruits n protein bar?
so darn confusing - i still haven't find the right kind of diet for me *the healthy right kind of diet*
- no wonder there's nutritionist everywhere

back to the training...
the trainer wish i continue esp since they're having a loyalty program - cheaper by $7/session BUT you have to take at least 30 sessions...
waaah, this time around Im not gonna take anymore installment plan; I'd rather pay upfront then having to think u're tied to a certain card b'cos of this stupid installment...

this is the hard part - making decision on continuing or not.
of course, the trainer wish i could continue as the training (or should i said 'torturing') she plans for me is actually a 3-mth plan training.
i personally want to continue, as i feel great w/ this eventhough I kinda miss the bodypump class (hehe, anyway i still do it only that my trainer is not aware of this - she's gonna kill me if she knows)

but but,
all these training session and my US trip really use most of my savings.
if i were to take again, there goes my savings .. again.
not sure if this year we'll get a good bonus too

really can't make decision - of course my heart wants me to sign up for more sessions but my mind asks me to rethink abt it again n again....

really dunno :(

for my BELOVED JIMMY

Today I planned to complete one application but as per normal some things get in the way which needs to be entertained first.
Alas, when that is done the mood of completing my application evaporated as well.

These few days Im kinda down as well, what else but because of this bloody stupid fats. It might sound that I fuss a lot abt this, but I know how strict I am to myself before and now that I try to let it loose as ppl are complaining how skinny I was bla bla bla, I felt like I gained fat!!!
Its so darn funny, when all the clothes getting looser n looser but I notice the fat getting more visible. Could it be that my muscle is toner that my body became trimmer n the fats become obvious?
Guess I have to start getting back in track. I've been letting myself loose by eating a family pack of Cadbury at one go which made my trainer gone wild :D.

anyway, Im actually here dedicating this post to one of the beloved guy in my world - JIMMY

I was browsing friendster n decided to add more pics to it. I finally decided to put jimmy's picture.
After uploading it I just kept looking at his face, remembering those days when he's alive.
I couldn't control myself afterwards, I really really miss him so much.

No more eagerness of flying back home n calling him to come home n sleep w me.
No more breathless moment from carrying him - how the vet always ask us to let him go on a diet :)
No more difficulty to move my legs while i'm sleeping at night knowing he's between thr knees n moving around means waking him up as well
No more deep purring from his mouth...

I would never forget that sunday morning, while I was doing my ironing my mobile beep for an incoming message from my dad. Reading the 'inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi roji'un' word he typed, I braced myself to read further and find out which relative passed away.
Oh boy, how was I not prepared to read that the one who passed away was my beloved hunny.
No sickness, nothing at all, not even a news that he's under the weather and here came the message.

9 Sept 1992 - he was borned in my parents closet, the darkest amongst all - the loner, which helped him survived the virus break between his siblings.
How protective he was to his little sister, Milly Snr. that made him the enemy amongst the others as Milly was so mischevious n he always defended his sister from other cats.
How eagerly he was waiting for his food - how special he was that he's always given more portion than the rest of the cat.
How delightful I was knowing that he started to get along w other cats when he's getting older - no longer the loner that he used to be.

Jimmy - my hunny bunny, ur pic is here in my office, at home, in my machine n everywhere...
really miss u much - especially today.

yupe - 3 weeks has passed by and Im still having the cough.

went back to my hometown where I met my family n my lovely cuddly nephew.
I guess he really wanted me to remember him when Im back here, thats why he passed his cough n flu to me.
Is it my immunity system that bad that I havent recovered up til today? I dunno...
I dont think so actually, knowing how actively engaged I am to sports.

Anyway, ppl say that fat boosts immunity system -- does this mean my fat level is down?
hmmm I really really hope so :)

went back to my normal life - again, I missed the launches of combat, pump, n balance. Tried my best to catch up but this stupid cough made it difficult
Alas, I only do few times of combat, pump n balance - thank god Combat 24 is not that great in a sense that the movement is realllly like 21. But hats down for the songs though - 2 BonJovis n 1 RickyMartin.

I really love coming back here n back to do combat - did once in Jakarta which was quite disappointing - there's no muay thai!! what is combat w/o that rite?!?

talking abt combat makes me talk abt my favourite instructor :)
went to orchard branch last saturday 'cos he's covering a class there.
I was quite exhausted that day - still under the weather n forgotten to bring water.
During the few seconds break he said that he noticed the energy level was decreasing n asked us to increase it. Apparently he was looking at me while saying that so I had to nod my head n really increased my intensity level. Wow, I shouted n shouted n felt like fainting afterwards. But its definitely a great workout n my way of showing support to this favourite instructor of mine...

hmmm....
called my nephew few days ago n he said that he loooooooooooooove me so much n wanted to follow me here.
I said 'cannot' n he said 'must, i wanna follow'.
he is so cute, n being just 3.5 yrs old he doesnt know what must means so he kept using that words.
Its just so funny hearing his cute little voice insists on something by saying the word 'must'.
speaking of him just makes me wanna make a call n talk to him now.

Books books books...

I finally bought it!! After months of contemplating whether to wait 'til its available in the library/rent store I finally had my hands on the book - French Women Don't Get Fat.
Wuhuuu.. can't wait to read it tonite...

Thats the problem w books - when u're done w/ one u definitely have to get a new one asap :).
I spent last weekend finishing the novel - a loving scoundrel but the one and only Ms. Johanna Lindsey.
Hands down ppl - she's definitely my favourite when it comes to historical romance.
I should credit my elder sis for introducing me to her.

One thing good abt her book is that you definitely know what's going on next, so the thrill is in anticipating it; not in guessing what's gonna be next.

Ms. Lindsey - if only u read this, I really wanna say a huge thank you for having a brilliant idea on having this Malorys.
For those who doesnt know - this author writes lotsa novels with some of them is link to each other, and my favourite - and my sisters fave as well - is abt the Malory family. How this notorious family w/ handsome and beautiful family members captures our heart, u guys have to read it yourself.

Some clue though - its better if u read it in the order so u know what they're talking abt - something this malorys can just talk abt some small things that happen in the other book, though it won't really make much different if u don't follow the order - I know I don't but if based on experience, its better to get it in order.

Some of them in orders are (though I forget some of the title):
  • Regina Malory - Nicholas Eden (Love Only Once)
  • James Malory - Georgina Anderson (A Gentle Feuding(?))
  • Anthony Malory - I forget the lady's name (Tender Rebel)
  • Derek Malory - Kelsey Langton (??)
  • Amy Malory - Warren Anderson (??)
  • The Malory's ancestor; including abt Jason Malory - Molly (The Holiday Present)
  • Jeremy Malory - Danette (Loving Scoundrel)
I guess the next one will be abt Drew Malory - who know's who..

so ppl - get ur hands on the book.
My favourite is James Malory - but after finish reading abt Jeremy, his son - I kinda like him now.
But no.. James' the best :)
