I 'Heart' Launch Week - BC 33

it's combat launch today - release 33. a fun one indeed. went to the rp branch and apparently it was reno, suhaimi, and roger doing the launch there. as usual suhaimi cracked us up, he still tricked us even its a new launch when none of us know the movement yet. it was fun though and i couldn't help myself but laugh out loud when he commented about a girl and make comparison with the other girl. he is the only one who dares saying those kinda thing out loud.
instructors aside, the music was funny. quite surprise when we did ginga with a bhangra song. interesting!. was a bit annoyed that the guy in front of me exercised like there's plenty of room available. it was crowded that i couldn't even execute round-house kick properly, yet he did the jumping side kick - ginga leisurely and everytime he did that he stepped on me. and not a single 'sorry' until once i complained and told him to be more careful. muay thai wise, i'm still confuse with the downward punch-uppercut-hook-hook-4 back knees. still trying to execuite it properly and they've started with the 16 jump knees. whoooaaaa...
anyway still got 2 more weeks to do BC33 as many as i can. will be skipping balance launch tomorrow and will be doing pump launch on thursday. i love this week...

Picking Up the Old Habit

i walked from office to orchard road yesterday. my legs started to feel itchy followed by my bum. seems like the fats around that area was burning. my route was as per normal:- raffles place-boat quay-clarke quay-river valley-killiney-sommerset-orchard. it was a nice walk until i realised that if i were to walk in this pace i'd be late for the engagement i had and i still need to run errand. i started to increase my pace and my tummy began to feel itchy. well as usual, my abs is always the last part this body choose to burn. reaching orchard and done with my errand, i went back to killiney for the engagement i had. i was a bit dehydrated by then but all in all it was a good walk. today i feel some soreness in my thigh which means i did burn something yesterday. i think it is good if i go back to the old days where me and few workmates gathered at either lavender or outrampark mrt station and walked to the office then. with them being unavailable now, one resigned, the other one had an ankle surgery, i have to do it alone and lets see if i really do it.

8 is the new 10!

i've been hearing a lot of comments on my current weight - from work mates, friends, gym members, families. i've started to get back to my normal gym routine since last week. i even did my own weight training on friday and it was not bad. i just need to build more courage and pick up what i'd been doing during my training time. so last friday, on my way home i met one of the lady i used to meet in morning class. she tapped my shoulder, assess me before commenting on how big i am now. of course the 'you used to be slim, what happen to you?' question came next. then during weekends when i meet people i haven't met for quite some time, they too comment that i seems to gain weight, i told them yes - 8 kg. my families were surprise seeing me in skirt and i told them none of the pants can be worn now, you really gain that much? yes - 8 kg. this has been quite a standard question thrown to me for the last few months that i'm immune to them already and the answer came out without any second thought.
so when i woke up late for my morning class today, i decided to do my own training instead of joining the class later. i opened my training book to see what kind of training i should do later considering i did all the major muscles last friday. that was when i realised there's a measurement data at the last page of the book. in the first book i weigh 46.5 kg and 45.7 kg in the second book. well if that's the case i don't gain 8 kg but 10!! snap!
