An Eye Opener...

Went to the gym y'day n met my gym buddies. She asked me to join her n her frenz going 4 trekking this sat but I can't make it. I promised a relative to join her in the orchard gym. Anyway I still wouldnt be able to make it as Ive made other appointment after my gym session - well, some other time I definitely will join this trekking activity.

I was telling her abt the news I heard re one of the girls we've got to know in the locker room. She was apparently hospitalized when another friend of us joined in n informed us that the lady we're talking abt had a stroke that left her right body paralized. We were so shocked upon hearing this. Still remember chatting w her last week abt how slim she's getting n how much she ate during her Shanghai biz trip. She's only in her late thirties!!
Still dunno what really happened to her - could it be the drastic weight loss or the fact that she's a smoker .. hmm, will try to find out more tonite n probably gonna pay her a visit; 'cos I really do believe in the power of moral support.

Went home n couldnt sleep the whole nite due to the bad headache I had. While I was trying to sleep my mind wondered to this gym lady n to my aunt. My aunt had a brain surgery twice last year as she had an aneurism (?? - i dunno how to spell it, basically its bleeding due to the leakage/burst of the vein). She used to experience losta headaches before n it made me think of all the worst case that could happen to me if God wants it to happen.

All in all makes me realise the importance of having a Health Insurance. All this while Im quite sceptic when it comes to insurance - I kinda not believe in it. But, hmm .. If anything worst happen to me n since Im still single, I dont wanna be a burden to my parents. Really gotta look into this matter seriously I guess.

Well, in the meantime I'll just try to live a healthy life n reduce my gym visit since I knew that I've been overdoing it - twice a day!!.

And as for now, gonna get back to work n simply enjoy the last day of the week at work.
Going to pamper myself tomorrow n can't wait for that!

hey, where did it go?

my first post here is gone! :(

well, probably its due to the template error I've been having for a while.. hmmm
anyway nothing much is written there.

Simply abt me going back home to Jakarta for the w/end on early April as my uncle was sick. He's doing great now. Going home gave me a chance to meet my family though my dad was on his biz trip n definitely I spent time playing w/ my nephew.

Met my uni friends for a late lunch and its quite fun meeting them again. Especially when Im all alone here in Singapore - not really alone but not many friends here.

Going home means foood too - I definitely gained weight or at least add few kgs of fats in me with all the foods I had.

Prior to this trip, I went to the states - courtesy of my company :). Great time there n definitely great food as well, lotsa carbs man!! Though I travel alone there I never regret my decision of extending my stay for a week in NY as I really enjoyed every moment of it.

Oh yeah, I finally got a chance to learn cycling (though still haven't master it). I was also accepted to the fencing class next month and together with my gym buddies we're going to take a wakeboarding course.

Yaaayyyyy!!!!

I am soooo happy that I finally found a friend who enjoys outdoor activities especially water sports!

hope all this will help me more in achieving a tone body.

Brand New Day

okay ...
starting from now on - its a brand new day for me!
meaning that I have to get back on track to achieve what I want physically.

Yupe, Ive lost lotsa weight but I still need to down my bodyfat %tage which currently is 26.6.
Its normal but hey, can get better rite.

My arms n legs apparently is undeveloped as well - after all this weight training!!!
well, my fault really - too many exercise n it burnt the muscle instead of the fat - thats what the trainer said :
now Im back to my healty eating habit n this time around it will include good carbs - no more atkins for me to gain 3.8 kg of muscle n burn 0.7 kg of fat. All in all Im kinda underweight.

I've started preparing my bfast n dinner again - at least w/ this I know what goes into my body. Hopefully ... in 2 weeks time I can have that washboard abs .. ameeen :)
